Overview

WayTeller is operated by KEHL GROUP LLC. This policy explains how we collect and use information when you use the WayTeller app and this website.

Location data

WayTeller is a location-aware narration app. We process GPS coordinates, speed, and timestamps while you use the app to generate narrations about nearby places. We also use reverse geocoding (for example Mapbox or Google Maps Platform) to resolve place names for narration.

On-demand map (Pro): When you long-press the map, you choose a specific point. We send those coordinates to our servers to generate a one-off narration for that location. This is user-initiated precise geolocation, separate from ambient GPS as you drive or walk. We use these coordinates only to provide the narration you requested and to enforce subscription limits. We do not sell your location data.

Account and subscriptions

If you create an account, we store your email and authentication identifiers. Subscription status is processed through Apple In-App Purchase; we store tier and entitlement status, not your full payment card number.

Analytics

We use PostHog for product analytics (for example narration funnels and subscription events). On-demand map analytics include subscription tier and success/error metadata only — not raw map coordinates.

Retention

Pro on-demand map usage limits use a rolling 24-hour counter on your profile; we do not store a history of every map coordinate you select in that counter.

Your rights
